Do I need my veil and hair accessories for the trial run?
Yes, anything that you plan on using to complete your wedding look is recommended to bring along to the trial. If for some reason it hasn’t arrived yet it’s ok.
Is it helpful if I have images of hair and makeup that I like?
Very! I will ask that you send them to me before our trial. You can always add me to a pinterest board as well.
When should I book my trial run for?
Typically 2-3 months before the wedding. I always suggest planning the trial run for the same day as engagement photos, the dress fitting, or a bridal shower to get the most out of your hair and makeup. Even a date night is fun.
Is it ok if I bring some of my own makeup?
Of course! I have everything I’ll need and more to complete the desired look, but it’s always ok if you’d like to use some of your own makeup as well.
I usually don’t wear makeup or wear very little. Is that ok or will I need to wear a lot more for the wedding?
Not at all, I am all about enhancing your natural features and creating a look that feels like you, just more polished, ensuring you look flawless on and off camera.
What if I change my mind about my chosen look after the initial trial?
If you decide to try another look I am happy to do a second trial run. Additional charges will apply.
What do I need to prepare for the hair and makeup trial?
Please send your hair and makeup inspo photos to me ahead of our trial.
Please come with a clean face and have your hair freshly washed and dried the morning of or day before based on your preference.
If you plan on getting any facial waxing done make sure it’s at least 5 days prior.
Provide any veil or hair accessories you would like to use to complete the look.
If you would like to use hair extensions on your wedding day please bring them along to the trial. If you would like to buy extensions and aren’t sure which to get I would be more than happy to help guide you and even color match if needed.
What do I need to prepare for hair and makeup on the wedding day?
For your makeup application, I suggest clients arrive with clean skin.
Freshly washed and dried hair will help with styling. Day two hair is also ok if you can typically go a few days in between washes.
If you plan on getting any facial waxing done make sure it’s at least 5 days prior.
Please wear a robe/dressing gown or something that can be easily taken off rather than over the head as this may affect the finished hair or makeup.
